Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – 34 motorbikes and three cars resulting from police operations by Malang City Police officers over the past three months were exhibited and returned to their owners during the Expo for the Return of Evidence of the Results of Crime held at the Malang City Police Headquarters, Saturday (28/9/2019).

A number of these vehicles are the result of violent theft (curas), aggravated theft (curat) and motorcycle theft (curanmor). So far, these 3C crimes in Malang City tend to increase and in the future security will continue to be improved.
For people who want to take back their vehicles, they can check directly to the Malang City Police Headquarters by bringing the Vehicle Registration Certificate (STNK), BPKB and proof of vehicle ownership from either the dealer or leasing company. If the documents brought are correct, they will be returned without any charge.
Malang City Police Chief AKBP Dony Alexander after symbolically handing over the vehicle to the owner said that his party will increase alertness. "In addition to synergizing with the ranks of the TNI, Malang City Government and patrols, we will also add CCTV in several areas prone to crime, especially 3C acts around the campus," he said.
Police Chief Dony also appealed to the public to play an active role in reducing the crime rate, such as by immediately reporting if a crime is about to occur.
"In addition, residents should not park their vehicles in random places and equip their vehicles with secret keys or double keys," he advised.
The same thing was conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji. He said that his party has also built good synergy with Forkopimda, so that various criminal acts can be suppressed as much as possible.
"From the release and the results of this arrest, it shows that the work of the Police and our synergy is quite good, and this achievement deserves to be appreciated. The community also expressed their gratitude to me personally. Residents can already feel the security and comfort, and play an active role in maintaining the conduciveness of this city," he explained.
Residents also appreciate what the Polri has done, because the vehicle retrieval process is free and fast. In the future, residents hope that similar programs can be carried out routinely and continuously. In addition, the police should also increase security, so that criminal acts can be suppressed as little as possible. (say/yon)
