Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The 2019 Healthy Toddler Competition held by the Malang City Health Service at the Gajahmada Hotel, Malang City, Wednesday (2/10/2019) received an extraordinary response from the community.
Secretary of the Malang City Health Office Drs. Sumarjono, Apt. said that this Healthy Toddler Competition is an effort by the Malang City Health Office to motivate parents to be better and pay attention to the health of their children from an early age.
"In this Healthy Toddler Competition, we also share knowledge on how to care for babies and children under the age of five," explained Sumarjono, Wednesday (2/10).
In addition, this activity is also a place for health workers to conduct various counseling. "The 2019 Malang City Healthy Toddler Competition was attended by 32 participants. Before advancing to the city level, the participants had previously qualified when participating in the Puskesmas level toddler competition in the sub-districts in Malang City," explained Sumarjono.
There are many assessment criteria to decide who will be the winner in this Healthy Toddler Competition. Starting from the suitability between age, weight and height, the child's response in participating in various games, and others. (cah/yon)
