Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) held a Workshop on Optimization and Synergy of Regional Regulation Enforcement with Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in Malang City. The activity, which was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, was held at the Atria Hotel, Monday (7/10/2019).
In his speech, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko revealed that activities like this are very important as a policy instrument to implement regional autonomy, as stated in the mandate of the Constitution and Law No. 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government. "This activity is very important to know together how the existing regulations are," explained Edi, Monday (7/10).
He added that it is very important to ensure that all levels of society obey and comply with existing regulations properly.
But it must also be acknowledged that there are still many parties who have not submitted and complied with the existing regulations. "In accordance with the mandate of the law, the Civil Service Police Unit is tasked with enforcing it," explained Bung Edi, as the Deputy Mayor of Malang is familiarly called.
From this activity, it is expected to be a forum for gluing in building communication and coordination with various parties to realize an orderly, safe and comfortable Malang City. (cah/yon)
