Pangkal Pinang, MC – The presentation of the Anugerah Media Humas (AMH) Award is one of a series of events for the closing of the Synergy of Information and Communication Action (SAIK) held in Bangka Belitung, from 22-25 October 2019.

Director General of Public Communication Information, Widodo Muktiyo gave his appreciation to the winners. According to him, Public Relations is a very strategic profession in conveying information from the government to the public. "Public Relations is a profession that is strategic and very much needed by the public, about how information can reach the public. For that, let us give ourselves appreciation tonight," he said while giving a speech at the 2019 Public Relations Media Award at the Novotel Bangka Hotel and Convention Center, Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung, Friday (25/10). On that occasion, Widodo conveyed a message from the Indonesian Minister of Communication and Information, Johnny G Plate who will provide support for the Government's Public Relations activities. "Representing the Minister of Communication and Information, he is very happy to be together with the ranks of Communication and Information and he will continue support Bakohumas activities, even specifically the Ministry of Communication and Information will align Communication and Information," he explained quoting the message of the Minister of Communication and Information. The main objective of AMH 2019 is to create a positive competitive spirit in the performance-based public relations environment and as an opportunity to improve the quality of Government Public Relations performance. In addition, AMH is expected to spur Government Public Relations and Bakohumas to strengthen the role of disseminating information related to government programs to the public. On the night of the 2019 Public Relations Media awards, awards were presented to 5 (five) categories competed in AMH 2019, namely:

The Communication and Informatics Agency, which was nominated in the Website and Social Media Category, received an award certificate from the Directorate General of Public Information and Communication of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia. The Malang City Communication and Informatics Agency is one of the AMH 2019 participants who successfully entered the AMH nomination in the Website Category. The Synergy of Information and Communication Action (SAIK) activity is an annual activity organized by the Directorate General of Public Information and Communication (IKP) of the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Government on October 22-25, 2019. The 2019 SAIK activity was attended by 169 Institutions from Public Relations/Institutions/State Universities throughout Indonesia, Provincial/District/City Communication and Information Services throughout Indonesia, to Social Media Communication Institutions, Community Information Groups (KIM), and Folk Performances that participated in the 2019 National Pertura Arts Festival.
