Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Education Office (Disdik) held an Inclusive Education Development activity for Malang City at the Malang City Education Office Hall, Friday (25/10/2019).
Specifically, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, accompanied by the Head of the Malang City Education Office, Dra. Zubaidah, MM, Secretary of the Malang City Education Office, Totok Kasianto, and staff provided direction and motivation to the Special Companion Teachers (GPK).
Sutiaji said that all children are always born with advantages and strengths, therefore as educators we must be able to maximize the advantages that exist in each child. This is where the important role of educators is needed, including for special assistant teachers.
"Every child is unique, has their own advantages. Therefore, each child requires different treatment that cannot be generalized," explained Sutiaji, Friday (25/10/2019).
From this reality as educators must continue to learn and learn in order to educate children according to their abilities and potential. On this occasion Sutiaji also explained the importance of the concept of understanding parents, the concept of understanding children and the concept of understanding education
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Education Office, Dra. Zubaidah, MM expressed Malang City's commitment to developing educational services, including inclusive education.
