Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Artists have done various ways to convey their criticism to the public, especially related to the prevention and eradication of corruption. Such as by holding a cartoon exhibition entitled 'Saweran Kartun ke-2' at Malang City Hall. The exhibition, which was held from October 31 to November 2, 2019, attracted a lot of attention, including the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji.

The bespectacled man gave his appreciation to dozens of works that criticized the triggers of corruption in this country. According to him, various cartoons by artists from various regions, such as Bandung, Malang, Yogyakarta and Solo, gave a very good touch and social criticism.
"For those who have seen it, hopefully it can be used as material for introspection and can carry out what is seen, such as not committing any acts of corruption, no matter how small, especially for public officials," he added, Friday (01/11/2019).
Furthermore, Sutiaji said that this exhibition was very positive, especially when presenting students to better understand the various actions that can trigger corruption. "If the artists want their work to be published in a book, we fully support it. The book can later be used as positive teaching material for students," he continued.
Furthermore, Sutiaji said that learning or introduction related to corruption from an early age must be done. "Methods like this are one of the efforts to prevent corruption from an early age, so that future leaders of the nation will become a moral generation," he said.
Meanwhile, the head of the exhibition committee, Wirastho said that this event is a manifestation and one form of criticism from artists for bureaucrats and other public officials. "In addition, this exhibition is also a learning event for various parties, so it is expected to reduce the occurrence of corruption," he explained. (say/yon)
