Dispendukcapil Opens Immediate KIA Services at MCP

Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The enthusiasm of Malang City residents to take care of Child Identity Cards (KIA) is very high. This was seen when the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City opened a mobile service booth at Malang City Point Mall (MCP), Friday-Saturday (8-9/11/2019).

During two days of opening services at the BOM event (Bargaining On Mall) which was initiated by the Malang City DPMPTSP, the queue of residents was seen snaking and the Population and Civil Registry Service served and printed around 2.400 KIA cards.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Office, Dra. Eny Hari Sutiarny, MM when met on the sidelines of the service, Saturday (09/11/2019). This KIA service, he said, is in demand by residents and residents are willing to queue because this KIA service can be waited for and done immediately.

In fact, Eny explained, Dispendukcapil officers are in 57 sub-districts in Malang City. However, when taking care of KIA in the sub-district, residents must be more patient, because the card cannot be made immediately. "Officers must bring data to the Dispendukcapil office so it takes two to three days," she explained.

In one day, Eny explained that Dispendukcapil can serve a maximum of around 1.200 cards, because it is adjusted to the equipment. This means that if it is more than that, the equipment will not be optimal and tends to error so that residents who have not been served are expected to understand this.

The woman in hijab added that the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Office will continue and always open a mobile service in crowded centers, because when there is a service in a mall like this, residents can also take a walk. "So while waiting in line, residents can take their children for a walk in the mall so they don't get bored," explained Eny.

In addition to being one of the requirements for entering school, he added, this KIA has many benefits, so that residents are enthusiastic so that their children will soon have a KIA. Such as when ordering plane tickets no longer need to bring a family card, several tourist attractions, places to eat, tourist attractions and malls provide special discounts.

"For residents who have not been served by this kind of outreach service, residents should be able to take care of it at their local sub-district. For residents who want to take care of KIA, they should come themselves and not through other people, such as service providers, because there is no cost to get KIA, it's free," concluded Eny.
