(malangkota.go.id) – Malang City is one of the government agencies selected in the Top 40 participants in the Public Service Complaint Management Competition organized by the Indonesian Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB).

The SP4N Competition is a competition that tests the quality of the Public Service Complaint Management System and the People's Online Aspiration and Complaint Service (LAPOR) owned by government agencies.
In the 2019 competition, 312 Government Agencies and Public Service Units throughout Indonesia were registered. Of that number, 156 participants were verified.
The assessment process begins with self assessment through filling out forms and sending supporting documents by the Malang City Communication and Informatics Service as a regional apparatus that has the task and function of managing public complaint services within the Malang City Government. Forms and supporting documents are selected and evaluated by an evaluation team from the KemenPANRB.
Based on the Results of the Plenary Meeting of the Evaluation Team on November 18, 2019 as a follow-up to the verification of the proposal according to the provisions of the Decree of the Minister of PANRB Number 310 of 2019 concerning the Public Service Complaint Management Competition, 40 participants who passed the initial selection stage were announced. This number consists of two categories, namely Government Agencies (IP) as many as 30 IPs and the Public Service Unit (UPP) category as many as 10 UPPs.
The top 40 participants who successfully pass the initial assessment stage will enter the interview stage for the SP4N Competition which will be held on November 25-29, 2019.
Hopefully Malang City will once again achieve the best. Fast, accurate, and complete management and handling of public service complaints to the community will be one of the supporting factors for the acceleration of Malang Smart City which is currently being realized by the Malang City Government.
