Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government through the Economic Development Section of the Malang City Regional Secretariat in collaboration with the OJK and Jagoan Indonesia held a workshop at the Digital Innovation Lounge (DILo) Telkom Kayutangan, Saturday (23/11/2019).
Participants in this activity came from MSME actors who are members of the RPMR (Malang Raya House of Change) community.
"This workshop is a series of work programs of the TPAKD (Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team) in encouraging public financial literacy. Through this workshop, participants get material on the use of the digital world in developing MSME businesses through the use of financial bookkeeping applications, payment applications and product marketing tips and tricks," explained Plt. Head of Economics Dra. Rinawati, MM.
Malang City MSMEs, said the founder of Jagoan Indonesia, Diaz Satria, have great potential to dominate the market, especially MSMEs in the culinary or food processing sector.
"It just needs strengthening on the branding side and the packaging, cannot only move conventionally. Packaging must be built that provides magnitude so that consumers are immediately interested and captivated, a marketing pattern that is also millennial in style. I think Malang City has potential in the digital creative economy. This is what must be married to MSME actors," said Diaz.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, appreciated this activity. According to this badminton enthusiast, the jargon of UMKM moving up a class must be realized with a touch of marketing 4.0.
