Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government through the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) together with the Malang Financial Services Authority (OJK), Malang City Baznas, and PD BPR Tugu Artha Sejahtera launched the OJIR financing program which is an innovation and collaboration of financial services institution products in order to increase financial literacy and inclusion.

The financing program called OJIR, which is an acronym for Ojo Percoyo Karo Rentenir, is a complete unit of the movement to stem the practice of loan sharks or banks. title in order to improve community welfare.
This is in line with the three objectives to be achieved by the Malang City TPAKD program, namely increasing public access to financial services in Malang City, improving the regional economy through MSMEs and ultimately improving community welfare.
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said that OJIR is a financing program without interest and without collateral that facilitates the needs of the people in Malang City to escape from the clutches of loan sharks.
The source of funding for OJIR financing comes from capital participation from the Malang City Government to BPR Tugu Artha Sejahtera, and in collaboration with the Malang City National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) through the management of alms and charity which are used for assistance in the management and administration of OJIR financing.
"Through this program, we hope that the community's debt burden to loan sharks can be resolved immediately and at the same time obtain aid funds to be used as capital for their MSME businesses," said Sutiaji when launching OJIR program at the Savana Hotel Malang, Friday afternoon (6/12/2019).
The launch of this program began with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between Baznas Malang City represented by H. Sapardi S.Ag as the Chairman of Baznas Malang City and PD BPR Tugu Artha Sejahtera represented by Nyimas Nunin Anisah Baidury, SP. The signing of this cooperation agreement was also witnessed by the Mayor of Malang and the Head of OJK Malang.
As a form of implementation of the Cooperation Agreement above, an initial financing agreement was also signed between PD BPR Tugu Artha Sejahtera and 15 debtors from three sub-districts in Malang City, namely Blimbing, Kedungkandang and Lowokwaru Sub-districts.
"To facilitate the implementation of the OJIR financing program, the involvement of various parties such as sub-district heads, village heads, and Market UPTs is needed in order to socialize the OJIR program and record residents and market traders who have fallen into the trap of loan sharks, who can then be recommended to receive financing through the OJIR program," said Sutiaji.
He also hopes that in the end the people of Malang City will become more aware of obtaining easier and cheaper access to financing so that they can escape the trap of debt to loan sharks.
Meanwhile, the Head of OJK Malang, Sugiarto Kasmuri explained that OJIR is a work program of TPAKD Malang City in 2019 which will be continued in 2020 as a real contribution to the people of Malang City.
For that reason, the role of OJK in conducting active supervision of PD BPR Tugu Artha Sejahtera is important in ensuring the implementation of the principle of prudence starting from the stage of financing distribution to monitoring the financing of the OJIR. (Ts/yon)
