Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In order to provide better public services to the people of Malang City, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) through the Communication and Information Service launched the online complaint service platform "SAMBAT Rene KER!", Saturday (7/12/2019) at the Merdeka Square, Malang City.

The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, was present accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edy Jarwoko, the Regional Secretary of Malang City, Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, Widayati, S. Sos, MM, and the ranks of the Malang City Forkopimda.
In his speech, the Mayor of Malang explained that this activity was carried out to accelerate the realization of Malang City as a smart city. "All services to the community must be electronic-based with the hope that it will be more easily accessible to the public," he explained.
He also revealed that the application "SAMBAT Rene KER!" has also been integrated with the SP4N-LAPOR! complaint application owned by the Ministry of PANRB. This will certainly make it easier for the Malang City Government to provide services to the community.
The implementation of this digital government, explained Sutiaji, is also in line with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, who focuses on the government in the future being based on Digital Serving (Dilan), namely reform in electronic-based public services.
"I am grateful because the side ranks also support the smart city program in Malang City, in the future the applications in the Police, in the Prosecutor's Office and in the Kodim will also be integrated with those of the Malang City Government. This will make it easier for us to provide services to the community," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Service, Dra. Tri Widyani P., M.Si said that this activity is a manifestation of the direction of the Mayor of Malang in order to accelerate digitalization in Malang City to realize a Smart City.
"The main priority is to improve the quality of electronic-based public services, so that it will increase the value of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) index in the Malang City Government," he said.
On that occasion, the Malang City Communication and Information Service also inaugurated the KER! Application, namely the integration of various public service applications to realize all services in the palm of your hand.
“SAMBAT Rene KER!” is a development of the previous version of the SAMBAT (Integrated Community Questioning Application System) application which was launched on April 1, 2016. Previously only web and SMS-based, this application now has an Android version and is available on the Play Store.
