Malang City Government Wins Top 30 Public Service Complaint Management 2019

Jakarta (malangkota.go.id) – Malang City Government received the Top 30 Public Service Complaint Management 2019 award from the Indonesian Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB).

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji received an award presented directly by the Minister of PANRB RI H. Tjahjo Kumolo, SH at the 2019 Top Public Service Complaint Management Award Presentation Night for Ministries, Institutions and Regional Governments held at Le Meredien Hotel Jakarta, Monday (9/12/2019).

The Mayor of Malang said that Malang City already has the “SAMBAT Rene Ker!” application which has been integrated with the “LAPOR” application owned by KemenPANRB, so that in the future it will make it easier to make policies for the community. “Malang City will continue to make improvements in order to make Malang a Smart City,” he said.

This award is given to institutions that have a high commitment in responding to public complaints. There are several assessment indicators in determining the award winners, starting from the commitment of the leadership, follow-up reports, supporting infrastructure to the competence of its human resources.

Meanwhile, the Deputy for Public Services of the Ministry of PANRB RI, Diah Natalisa in her report said that the purpose of this award is to collect, document, disseminate, and promote the management of public service complaints as one of the indicators of improving the quality of public services.

"I hope that in the future it can be improved and that all ministries/institutions and other regional governments continue to improve the management of public service complaints in a sustainable manner," Diah hoped.

In the speech read by the Secretary of the Ministry of PANRB Dwi Wahyu Atmaji, it is hoped that in the future there will be a top management of public service complaints even though it is not through this competition. He also invited agencies not to be ashamed to imitate and replicate the efforts of other agencies that have been good.

In addition, awards were also given to 20 agencies and seven UPP (Public Service Units) that entered the presentation and interview stages.

Also attending the event were Deputy for Studies and Management of Political, Legal, Defense, Security and Human Rights Issues of the Presidential Staff Office Jaleswari Pramodhawardani, Acting Mission Director of USAID Betty Chung, Chief of Party USAID CEGAH Juhani Grossman, Program Manager of the Office of Democracy, Rights and Governance USAID Diah Januarti, Minister of PANRB for the 2011-2014 Period Azwar Abubakar, Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, Deputy Governor of DI Yogyakarta Paku Alam X, Deputy Governor of South Kalimantan Rudy Resnawan, Head of the Bureau of Law, Communication and Public Information of the Ministry of PANRB Andi Rahadian, Head of the Bureau of Communication and Public Services of the Ministry of Health Widyawati, and the award recipients.
