Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The presence of the Old Kiosk Festival Parade Boedaya Malang is a positive thing amidst the public's anxiety over the erosion of local Indonesian culture by foreign cultures. This was stated by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji when attending the Old Kiosk Festival which was initiated and held independently by the community of art and culture lovers.

At the cultural event and culinary bazaar held in the open area at Villa Bukit Tidar, Wednesday (25/12/2019), the chairman of the event committee, Andri, informed that event This culture was held from December 25 to December 31 2019, featuring various attractions ranging from drum bands, banjari art, kuda lumping art, zumba party, percussion art, patrol art, Ponorogo reog, Tani Maju band performance and fireworks display.
The Mayor of Malang, who was present accompanied by the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, Widayati, S.Sos, MM, emphasized that only Indonesia has 200 thousand talent which are spread across the archipelago. "This should be a shared pride, we must protect it so that it is not claimed (recognized) by other countries," he said.
"I am Indonesian, not just spoken, but manifested in action. The Festival of Kios Jadoel Cultural Parade is one that is able to translate," added Aji, as the Mayor of Malang is familiarly called.
On that occasion, the Mayor of Malang also emphasized that after Malang Flower Carnival which is able to enter one of the national tourism and cultural event calendars of the Ministry of Tourism, will also soon be proposed by Malang Fashion Week.
