Surabaya (malangkota.go.id) – East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa congratulated the district/city governments in East Java on receiving the 2019 Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) award. This was conveyed to appreciate the performance achievements that have been made to provide improved services to the community.

"I would like to congratulate and thank all district/city governments in East Java that received the 2019 SAKIP award in Bali on January 27, 2020," said East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa in Surabaya, Wednesday (29/1/2020).
By receiving the award from the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB) of the Republic of Indonesia, Governor Khofifah hopes that all Regency/City Governments will continue to improve their performance. "This proves that our commitment to building a performance system for our government agencies continues to improve," she explained.
For that, he hopes that in the coming year, the predicate achieved can be further improved. "So if it is still B, it must be able to BB. Or if BB can rise to A, and A can achieve the highest award, namely AA," he hoped.
As previously reported, the East Java Provincial Government and all Regency/City Governments have received an award (SAKIP) from the Indonesian Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform at Inaya Putri Bali, Nusa Dua Badung Tourism Area, Bali, on Monday (27/1/2020).
Of the 38 district and city governments in East Java, five district governments achieved Grade A. The five regions are Banyuwangi District Government, Lamongan District Government, Gresik District Government, Ngawi District Government, and Situbondo District Government.
Governor Khofifah advised the five regions to be able to maintain the predicate and even improve it to AA. "To the Regency Governments that have achieved the A predicate, to be able to maintain and even improve the predicate in the following years," she advised.
In addition, there are 16 districts/city governments that received the BB predicate. The sixteen regions consist of Malang Regency Government, Malang City Government, Mojokerto Regency Government, Madiun Regency Government, Blitar City Government, Trenggalek Regency Government, Probolinggo City Government, Probolinggo Regency Government, Pasuruan Regency Government, Ponorogo Regency Government, Kediri City Government, Tulungagung Regency Government, Bondowoso Regency Government, Jombang Regency Government, Sidoarjo Regency Government and Surabaya City.
Meanwhile, 17 other district/city governments received a B rating, namely the Sumenep District Government, Sampang District Government, Pamekasan District Government, Blitar District Government, Pacitan District Government, Tuban District Government, Pasuruan City Government, Batu City Government, Magetan District Government, Mojokerto City Government, Kediri District Government, Lumajang District Government, Nganjuk District Government, Bojonegoro District Government, Bangkalan District Government, Jember District Government, and Madiun City Government.
On the other hand, Khofifah also provided support and encouragement for the Regency/City Governments that have not yet obtained an A predicate to improve their performance. This is expected so that in the following years they can achieve a better predicate.
"For those who have not achieved an A grade, there are 33 district/city governments in East Java, I urge you to improve your respective performance as well and as optimally as possible," he said again.
From data sourced from KemePAN RB RI, for the Regency/City category throughout Indonesia that achieved A ranking, there are 10 Regency/City Governments. While 5 of them are in East Java Province. Thus, East Java Province is the province in Indonesia that received the most A predicates for the Regency/City category at the 2019 SAKIP Awards. (public relations/yon)
