Lowokawaru (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko attended the Inauguration of the Management of the Indonesian Economists Association (ISEI) Malang Branch for the 2020-2023 period and the Public Lecture of the Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) held at the Widyaloka Multipurpose Building, Brawijaya University, Monday (03/02/2020).
Also present at this event were Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives Ali Ahmad SH, Chairman of the ISEI Central Management and Governor of Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo, Rector of Brawijaya University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR, MS, Member of the Bank Indonesia Supervisory Board (BSBI) and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Brawijaya University, Prof. Candra Fajri Ananda SE, MSc, Chairman of ISEI Surabaya, Dr. Eko Purwanto SE, M.Si, Head of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Malang Representative Office Sugiarto Kasmuri, administrators who will be inaugurated and participants of the public lecture.
Brawijaya University Chancellor Nuhfil Hanani in his speech said that Brawijaya University is the university most in demand by students throughout Indonesia with 178 study programs, including the top ten best in Indonesia.
"I ask for support, especially from the Dean of FEB, because almost all study programs are internationally accredited, including 12 internationally accredited programs out of a total of 14 study programs," he explained.
The elected Chairman of the ISEI Malang Branch for the 2020-2023 period, namely Wildan Syafitri along with all administrators were inaugurated by the General Chairperson of the ISEI Central Board Perry Warjiyo. "I, the General Chairperson of ISEI, officially inaugurate the administrators of the ISEI Malang branch for the 2020-2023 period. We believe that you will carry out your duties and responsibilities as well as possible in accordance with the responsibilities given," said Perry Warjiyo.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Malang who is often called Bung Edi on this occasion congratulated the elected Chairman of the ISEI Malang Branch Wildan Syafitri along with all the management of the ISEI Malang Branch, He hopes that with the inauguration of the management of the ISEI Malang Branch, they can make a real contribution to the economic progress of Malang and Indonesia.
