Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The discussion event for the agricultural harvest improvement and enhancement program in Malang City, which was held in the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Wednesday (5/2/2020), became a forum for joint discussions with Malang City farmers to discuss issues related to harvest results.
This discussion forum was attended by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji and Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko attended, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, and related ranks, namely the Environmental Service, the Food Security and Agriculture Service, the Cooperatives, Industry & Trade Service, Perumda Tugu Aneka Usaha (PD Rumah Potong Hewan), BSM Management and Environmental Cadres.
On this occasion, Joni Eko Saputro, an agricultural entrepreneur, said that he would provide expert assistance to farmers in his agricultural clinic. He provided it for free and hoped that agriculture in Indonesia and especially in Malang City could develop much better.
The Regional Secretary of Malang City who was the resource person for this activity enthusiastically expressed his hopes. "Extraordinary, hopefully today will be history for Malang City farmers to become prosperous farmers in the future," said Wasto which was agreed by all participants present.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang who took the time to attend amidst his busy schedule expressed his joy and pride in this activity. He strongly supports and hopes that this will be the beginning of prosperity and welfare for farmers. "Hopefully this will be starting points and the beginning of what we do for the prosperity and welfare of farmers," explained the Mayor of Malang.
The badminton enthusiast also emphasized that farmers should be truly facilitated so that the goal of this activity is realized, namely to improve farmers' welfare. "There should be no sentences that burden farmers, period. We are pampering farmers, God willing blessing" said Sutiaji. (Jhn/EM/yon)
