Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – When attending and opening the Basic Education Improvement and Implementation activity held by the Malang City Education and Culture Office, Thursday (20/02/2020), the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji invited all elements of education to carry out their duties and responsibilities well. Because according to him, this is one of the keys to producing a competitive future generation of the nation.

He added that all of that is also inseparable from the family environment where the child is born. The Mayor of Malang likened a wife to a field, a husband to a farmer and a child to a plant. So, if you want a good plant, it must come from superior seeds and the way to plant it must be right. So in this context, an educational institution is needed to realize all of that.
In an educational institution, Sutiaji said that in the educational instrument there are teachers, students, principals and guardians. The question is, have they carried out their duties and responsibilities well. "Basically, their duties are the same, namely to produce a quality generation of the nation. There is no need for arrogance in order to produce high spiritual and intellectual intelligence," he explained.
For parents, Sutiaji also advised not to force their will and always blame their children if what they do is not good. "Don't force rice to become coconut, don't force corn to become rice and vice versa. In essence, every child must have their own advantages, both academic and non-academic," he explained.
"School is a place for child care, so there must be harmony between the school and parents or the community. The name is someone who entrusts, if something happens at the place of care, then do not completely blame the person who is entrusted, but the person who entrusts must introspect. Basically, every child is a pearl for us," he said.
No less important, Sutiaji also appealed to all school elements to be able to carry out their respective functions, duties and responsibilities well and on time. As with the submission and absorption of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds, it should be orderly so as not to disrupt other operations. (say/yon)
