Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Launching of the Tax Payable Notification Letter (SPPT) for Land and Building Tax (PBB) The 2020 Tax Role Model Festival was held at the Kartini Hall of the Imperial Building, Jl. Tangkuban Perahu No. 1 Malang, Thursday (27/02/2020).
The Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji and his wife, the Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko and his wife, the Forkopimda of Malang City and the Head of the DWP of Malang City, Endang Wasto were present at this activity.
The Mayor of Malang officially launched the 2020 PBB SPPT by pinning various hopes on the fulfillment of the Malang City PAD target in 2020. In his speech, he was optimistic that the Malang City Bapenda was able to meet the PAD target. "This activity is also an effort to increase PAD in Malang City, by inviting the community to join the tax awareness movement," he explained.
This activity, he continued, is a small component to increase the potential of PAD which is targeted to reach around Rp800 billion and is expected to be fulfilled. "This is the smallest component, from the current potential of around Rp50 billion from the target of Rp800 billion. This is a part that cannot be separated from the accumulation of our income, so how to strengthen it is one of them in PBB," he explained.
Meanwhile, Head of Bapenda Malang City Ir. Ade Herawanto, MT explained that efforts to increase PAD are divided into several programs in the action plan that has been prepared as an effort to increase awareness of paying taxes.
The tax awareness movement that has been carried out by Bapenda, he said, is increasing compliance with taxpayer awareness, using IT technology for tax services, socialization and many others.
"This is also done together with related stakeholders, the term is pentahelix (academics, business, community, government, media). All halal and regulatory methods will be done to meet the target," he explained. (Ts/yon)
