Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After giving a public lecture on the theme 'National Health Resilience' and signing the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) between the Ministry of Health and Brawijaya University Malang, Friday (28/02/2020), Indonesian Minister of Health TErawan Agus Putranto invited the public not to be too afraid of the spread of the corona virus. Because, he said Indonesia is a big country and has done good anticipation and various efforts have been made to prevent and overcome it.

What has been making people overly afraid, he explained, is because of issues or information that is not accurate and it has been proven that until now no citizens in Indonesia have been infected with the dangerous virus. "S"Actually, what makes people afraid and anxious is from other countries, because the Indonesian government has taken concrete steps to anticipate it," added Minister Terawan.
Minister Terawan also said that other parties or countries who want to know and want to prove Indonesia's readiness are welcome. So far, the prevention standards and even handling carried out by the Government have been in accordance with the world health organization, namely WHO.
Minister Terawan also invites all levels of society to always spread positive viruses and not to cause excessive fear. "Don't be easily triggered or provoked by information that has not been proven true. We must be smarter in digesting information," he invited.
The most important thing at this time, he reminded, is for every individual to always maintain good health, such as consuming nutritious food, getting enough rest and exercising regularly. "KThis health resilience is very important, because it can protect someone from various types of virus or disease attacks," said the bespectacled man.
Meanwhile, regarding the Saudi Arabian government's policy of temporarily banning the entry of Umrah pilgrims, including from Indonesia, Minister Terawan asked all parties to continue to respect the policy. Therefore, he also invited all elements of society to prove that all Indonesian citizens are healthy, so that the public knows about it and does not view Indonesian citizens negatively. (say/yon)
