Surabaya (malangkota.go.id) – The East Java GP Ansor Regional Leadership for the 2019-2023 term was inaugurated at the Grahadi State Building, Surabaya, Sunday (1/3/2020). The Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions of the Republic of Indonesia Abdul Halim Iskandar, the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa, the Deputy Governor of East Java Emil Dardak, and the Chairman of the East Java PWNU KH. Marzuki Mustamar were present on this occasion.
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, along with several regional heads in East Java Province, including the Regent of Jombang, the Regent of Pasuruan, the Regent of Sampang, the Regent of Trenggalek and the Regent of Lumajang were also present and witnessed the inauguration procession. The inauguration of the GP Ansor Jatim management took the theme 'New Spirit of Ansor Jatim'.
Malang Mayor Sutiaji expressed his appreciation for the election and inauguration of Syafiq Sauqi as the Chairperson of PW GP Ansor Jatim for the 2019-2023 management term. "I congratulate you. Hopefully the mandate entrusted to you can be a bridge to lead Ansor Jatim to play an optimal role for the welfare of the people, especially leading the young generation of NU to become the vanguard in leading the nation's progress," said Sutiaji.
Syafiq Sauqi himself was elected as the Chairperson of the East Java GP Ansor PW for the 2019-2023 management term from the results of the XIV Regional Conference of the East Java GP Ansor PW at the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School, Gasek, Malang City which was held on July 28, 2019.
Gus Syafiq, as Syafiq Sauqi is familiarly known, said that the first step that would be taken was to consolidate all elements of Ansor Jatim throughout East Java. "We will combine all the elements into strength to serve at PW Ansor East Java," explained Gus Syafiq. (hms/yon)
