BPJS Kesehatan President Director Appreciates Implementation of Online Queue System

Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Various efforts have been made by a number of regions to support the program smart city. As done by Malang City, namely in the form of online queue services for residents who want to seek treatment at the first stage of health facilities, namely to health centers or clinics. The services integrated in the Mobile JKN application that has been developed by BPJS Kesehatan can be downloaded by residents on smartphones, making it easier for residents.

The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, together with the Director of BPJS Kesehatan, Fahmi Idris, inspected the health service room of the Kedungkandang Health Center.

Regarding this, the President Director of BPJS Kesehatan, Fahmi Idris, when visiting the Kedungkandang Health Center, Malang City, Wednesday (11/03/2020) appreciated the online queue service program. According to him, all services and supporting facilities at this health center are good and meet standards. "Every public service must always have innovation, so that it will provide more comfort to the community," he said.

However, according to the bespectacled man, the socialization of this program must be maximized, because no matter how good the program is if the public does not know or understand, it will be useless. Likewise with this online queue, if the number of people downloading is still minimal, the output will not be optimal. "On the other hand, a program like this must also be supported by adequate infrastructure such as computerization, availability of doctors and other supporting facilities," added Fahmi.

This service, he said, must also be connected to the referral hospital, so that a patient's medical record when referred does not have any obstacles and can be handled immediately. "The innovation carried out by Malang City is good and should be utilized by all levels of society," said Fahmi.

One of the residents, Rima Dwi Meinovitasari who has used this application admitted that it was very helpful, because she did not have to queue for a long time at the health center which was her first health facility service. In addition, according to this woman in a hijab, she can also find out which doctor will serve her and other information related to the health problems she is experiencing, is well informed.

Regarding this program, Malang Mayor Drs H Sutiaji is targeting that in the next three months at least 70 percent of Malang City residents will have the queue system application. Various efforts will continue to be made, such as socialization at each integrated health post to TP PKK mothers at the RT-RW level.

In addition, the Mayor of Malang will also encourage every hospital, health center and clinic to immediately improve data related to the number of doctors and facilities available. "So there is no reason for patient rejection, because in a hospital there is still a treatment room or not, it is already informed in this JKN mobile application," he said. (say/yon)
