Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City once again reminded the importance of self-identity, especially birth certificates. As conveyed by the Head of Dispendukcapil of Malang City Dra. Eny Hari Sutiarny, MM in the Birth Certificate Issuance Service activity with the theme Acceleration of Birth Certificate Ownership as Basic Legality of Identity held at the Sahid Montana Hotel, Friday (13/03/2020).

The woman in the hijab said that every person who is born must have an identity, such as their name, where they were born and when. If so, the next step is to come to the Dispendukcapil office or their respective sub-district office to register and get an identity. "A child who is 17 years old minus one day is required to have a Child Identity Card (KIA), which can be obtained in one day at the Dispendukcapil office," added Eny.
It is also important to note that there is no charge for processing the identity, and all requirements must be met, such as a photocopy of the marriage certificate of both parents and a birth certificate from the midwife. "Therefore, those who want to process it should come in person," Eny continued.
"We also hold a ball pick-up service by opening a service for making various identities at any time in crowded places, such as malls and markets. Therefore, the community should be able to take advantage of this program, because identity is very much needed by everyone in any matter," he added.
Eny further said that her party has a program Andok Petis or Free Permanent Document Delivery Service, where this is done so that all residents of Malang City can immediately have their identity. "As of February 2020, the population of Malang City is 928.724 and those who have birth certificates are around 55 percent. With various efforts from Dispendukcapil, it is hoped that in the future this number will continue to increase," he hoped.
In this event, the Dispendukcapil invited speakers from the Malang City District Court and the Malang City Education & Culture Office so that participants consisting of the OSIS chairman and school representative teachers could understand how to take care of birth certificates. "In addition, from the speakers we invited, participants can ask various things that are faced and not understood. Such as what should be done if you are late in taking care of a birth certificate," explained Eny.
apart Andok Petis, Dispendukcapil Malang City also has a solution for married couples who are in secret marriage and divorced. The couple can get a divorce certificate with a letter of absolute responsibility or SPTJM. "So we have various solutions for residents who need identity or a certificate," he said.
No less interesting, for children who already have KIA will get a special discount when buying books at the Togamas bookstore in Malang City. Because at this event, a cooperation agreement has also been signed with the bookstore. Thus, these children or students will increase their interest in reading, which in the end Dispendukcapil will participate in educating the nation's children. (say/yon)
Yours faithfully,
My family and I are immigrants from Purbalingga Regency, Central Java, who work and live in Malang City, precisely in Balearjosari Blimbing Malang Village.
Currently I am experiencing a disaster, my and my wife's ID cards are lost. Meanwhile, it is not possible to take care of returning to my hometown and there is no one who can be asked for help either.
Can I take care of / reprint my KTP at the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Office???
What are the conditions and methods and how???
Based on the information that I saw and heard in the mass media, the Indonesian Minister of Population stated that immigrants who lose their ID cards can take care of/print them where they are/domicile, without having to return to their hometown.
Thank you for your attention, answers and assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Cahyo Deru Eranuzanto.
