Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – To produce superior human resources (HR) as programmed by the central government, there must be a linear program from the regions. Such as programs to reduce stunting rates, advance the world of education and improve public health, which must start from the regions and even from the smallest element, namely the family.
That was emphasized by the Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko when attending a discussion with the Heads of RW of Madyopuro Village, Kedungkandang District, Sunday night (15/03/2020). In the casual dialogue held at a restaurant, it was enthusiastically welcomed by residents.
The man who is often called Bung Edi conveyed the procedures or flow in accommodating residents' proposals. Such as through a tiered musrenbang from the village level. "The facilities can and must be utilized well by residents, so that their area is more advanced," he explained.
Furthermore, the bespectacled man said that togetherness is needed in building a region. "Starting from the RT head to the mayor, for example, must have one vision in the development program, so that the results of a development can be felt together and evenly or fairly," explained Bung Edi.
Deputy Mayor Edi at this event also recalled the Covid-19 outbreak, where residents were advised not to panic but remain vigilant. Most importantly, he advised every resident to always maintain their health and endurance. "Only by living a healthy lifestyle will a person be a strong fortress so that they are not attacked by any virus," he said.
Meanwhile, Kedungkandang Sub-district Head Dony Sandito emphasized the importance of musrenbang, where each sub-district must know what the priority needs are. "So that the work program or proposals do not need to be many, and most importantly what is proposed is the community's needs," he said. (say/yon)
