Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The 60th Anniversary Celebration of the National Daily Council – The Agency for the Succession of the Cultivation of the 45 Struggle was held simply at the Pepabri Hall, Malang City, Wednesday (18/3/2020).
The Head of the Daily Council of the 45th Struggle Cultivation Branch (DHC), Lieutenant Colonel Pur. H. Suwarno, expressed his gratitude for being able to hold this activity. This is because this situation is something that force majeure which was previously unexpected. "Hopefully this togetherness will be an encouragement to continue to ignite the spirit of the '45 struggle in the midst of the current millennial era," explained Suwarno, Wednesday (18/3).
Suwarno said that it is very important to emulate the spirit of the heroes of 45 who were so extraordinary that they could bring independence to the nation. He hopes that by continuing to transmit that spirit to young people, this nation's generation will not forget history.
"By knowing history, the nation's generation will love their homeland even more. Love for their homeland is the key for the current generation so that they are not swayed amidst the strong onslaught of foreign influences," he added.
Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko admitted that he was happy to be able to attend this directly. According to him, activities like this are very important to gain knowledge from historical actors on how to love the nation.
"How to overcome various difficult situations so that we can continue to rise as we are now amidst the spread of Covid-19. From seniors like this, we, the younger generation, can learn a lot," said Bung Edi. (cah/yon)
