Parks in Malang City Closed and Sprayed with Disinfectant

(malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Chairperson of the Malang City Covid-19 Task Force Alie Mulyanto through the Head of Public Relations of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Muhammad Nur Widianto revealed that after Thursday (19/31/2020) targeting Malang City Hall and Kota Baru Station, Friday (20/3/2020) it was the turn of the Malang City DPRD Building, the Cemorokandang Health Center area, and the surrounding environment to be the targets of disinfectant spraying carried out by the Malang City Covid 19 Task Force.

"The disinfectant spraying steps will be carried out simultaneously, and as stated by the Deputy Head of the Task Force Team (Alie Mulyanto_ed), on Saturday (21/3/2020) the next target will be city parks," explained Wiwid, as the Head of Public Relations of the Malang City Regional Secretariat is familiarly called.

Photographed on Saturday (21/3/2020), the Malang City Covid-19 Task Force team was combing and moving to spray disinfectant around Jalan Veteran, Jalan Ijen and Taman Slamet.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Environmental Service Dra. Rinawati, MM informed that there are seven active parks and four seedling gardens, and all of them have been posted with announcements during the Covid-19 emergency period sterilized from public activities.

Spraying disinfectant itself is part of the steps to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in addition to continuously the community is expected to temporarily do more activities at home and independently increase body resistance and health. (public relations/yon)
