Malang (malangkota.go.id) – The Covid-19 care action continues to move from residents, communities, and institutions in Malang City. This time it was carried out by the Malang City Civil Service Higher Education Alumni Family Association (IKAPTK) by distributing 3.000 free masks to residents in five sub-districts in Malang City.

The action coordinator, MF Hariez said that the caring action had been intended for a long time. In between official duties, the alumni always thought about what efforts would be made to help the government in fighting Covid-19 in Malang City.
"Because we know that the government has limitations, there are mechanisms in the budgeting process to disbursement and it is impossible to run alone. There needs to be support from all parties, as has been done by the people of Malang City so far," said Hariez, who is also the Head of the Protocol Sub-Division of the Public Relations Division of the Malang City Government, Sunday (19/04/2020).
That is what underlies IKAPTK's movement through the action of distributing 3.000 masks which were distributed evenly in five sub-districts of Malang City. The action was also carried out by paying attention to the suggestions and directions of senior graduates of the State Administration College (STPDN) which is currently the Institute of State Administration (IPDN) serving in the Malang City Government.
"There are 73 retirees who are members of IKAPTK who serve in Malang City. Previously, students from Malang, after graduating, were returned to Malang again. Since 1995, they have been spread to all regions of the archipelago and indoctrinated to be able to be in the midst of society," added the former Head of Dinoyo Village.
The implementation of the distribution of 3.000 two-layer cloth masks from IKAPTK Malang City covers the Blimbing District area, namely Blimbing Market, Arjosari Terminal Guard Post, and Krempyeng Pandanwangi Market. While in Sukun District, namely the Janti T-junction red light and the Mergan - Langsep intersection red light.
In Lowokwaru District, namely the meat intersection or MT Haryono Street. While in Kedungkandang District, namely the intersection of Sawojajar Village and Sawojajar Market. Then the last one in Klojen District, namely at the intersection of Kawi - Ijen Street and Merdeka Square (in front of the Jami' Mosque).
This Covid-19 care action was launched by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji from the official residence located on Jalan Ijen 2, Malang City. Today, everyone needs to build empathy and sympathy to strengthen social solidarity, especially for IPDN alumni.
"In addition to the campaign to use masks by distributing free masks, I also ask you to continue to invite your respective environments to build a clean and healthy lifestyle. Strengthen Social and physical distancing, and use the upcoming Ramadan as a medium for praying for safety and freedom from corona. At the same time, it is a means stay home full of values of worship with family," concluded Sutiaji. (public relations/ram/yon)
