Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Branch Scout Movement carried out activities in collaboration with the East Java Regional Scout Movement, community groups and the Malang City Government to prevent or break the chain of transmission of the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) and distribute aid to residents affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
This activity is a form of devotion and synergy between the Malang City Branch Scout Movement and the Malang City Government in efforts to handle the Corona virus pandemic (Covid-19).
The Head of the Malang City Scout Branch, Kak. Heri Sunarko said that this activity was a form of devotion, full support and synergy between the Malang City Scout Branch and the Malang City Government in handling Covid-19.
"This is also a place for the Scout Movement members to dedicate themselves to practicing the values of the Dasa Dharma and Tri Satya of the Scout Movement," he explained.
Some of the activities carried out by the Malang City Scout Movement and ongoing to date include:
- Disinfectant spraying in collaboration with Muspika (Sukun District and surrounding areas)
- Mask Distribution
- Distribution of basic necessities to affected residents, in collaboration with (Kwarda East Java, PITI Malang City, PSMTI Malang City)
- Covid-19 Prevention Check Point Post Assistance, starting from April 25 to May 30, 2020 at city/district borders, Arjosari Terminal and Kota Baru Station.
- Collaboration with BPBD Malang City (distribution of masks and education on how to wash hands properly)
- Blood donation in collaboration with PMI Malang City (reduced blood stock due to the Corona pandemic)
He added that the number of Scout members involved in this activity was 68 Scout members from Saka Bhayangkara Kwarran/Blimbing District and the Malang City Rescue Brigade (BP.1332).
Heri Sunarko advised the assigned Scout members to continue to maintain and adhere to health protocols and always pray to Allah SWT for the safety and health of themselves, their families, their nation and their beloved Republic of Indonesia. remain sincere and always happy wherever you are.
