Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The handover of aid from Whitezone MAN 1 Malang distributed through the Malang City Government was carried out in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (4/5/2020). The aid in the form of 30 PPE, three boxes of medical masks, and 20 cloth masks was symbolically received by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji and the Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko.
"This is real evidence of the active participation of the people of Malang City regardless of age. These children are the young generation who have high concern for our current situation. I appreciate their efforts," said Sutiaji.
Whitezone MAN 1 Malang is a supporter community owned by MAN 1 Malang and consists of students from grades 10, 11 and 12. The funds collected are the result of donations and sales of souvenirs made by them.
Sutiaji has high hopes that other communities in Malang City will also be moved to unite and join hands with the Malang City Government to fight the spread of this virus in Bumi Arema.
On the same occasion, Stapa Center by Sampoerna also provided assistance for the second time in the form of 10.000 cloth masks to be distributed to the people of Malang City who need it. (Ts/yon)
