Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji reviewed the implementation of the distribution of the first phase of Cash Social Assistance (BST) from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) to Malang City residents at the Malang Main Post Office, Wednesday (6/5/2020).

The Mayor of Malang deliberately came to the Malang Main Post Office to see firsthand the distribution of aid, including how to collect aid while still observing health protocols. "There must be readiness of medical personnel, hand washing facilities must be provided, distribution officers and beneficiaries must also wear protective masks," said Sutiaji.
Before entering the Malang Main Post Office, beneficiaries also have their body temperature measured, queue distances are arranged or physical distancing. Through this method, it is hoped that aid can be distributed properly and the beneficiary community and the officers who handle it remain healthy.
Recipient data such as names and addresses are directly taken by the center from the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS). The total number of recipients of aid is 20.094 recipients of aid spread across five sub-districts in Malang City. The recipients of aid this time are residents of Kiduldalem Village and Bareng Village.
Head of Malang Main Post Office, Agung Janarjono targeted that on Saturday, May 9, 2020, the distribution of aid for Malang City would be completed. Aid was given to 4.073 people from Blimbing District, 2.966 people from Kedungkandang, 3.568 people from Klojen District, 3.407 from Lowokwaru District, and 6.080 from Sukun District.
"The total in Malang City is Rp12.056.400.000 (twelve billion fifty-six million four hundred thousand rupiah). Where each person gets Rp600.000 per month for the next three months," he concluded. (cah/ram/yon)
