Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The arrival of the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko at Rusunawa Buring 1, Malang City, Friday (8/5/2020) was greeted enthusiastically by residents. On this occasion, the Malang City Government distributed assistance from the Indonesian Youth Renewal Force (AMPI) of Malang City to hundreds of residents of Rusunawa Buring 1.
Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi directly handed over aid in the form of rice to residents of the rusunawa. He explained that the distribution of this aid was indeed prioritized for Malang City residents who had not received or were not yet recorded as recipients of any aid.
On this occasion, the number two person in the Malang City Government did not forget to invite Rusunawa residents to wear masks. Edi said that as per the existing health protocol, wearing a mask during the Covid-19 pandemic like this is very important because it can minimize the spread of Covid-19.
"I appeal to all citizens, including mothers, fathers and children, to maintain their health, one of which is by wearing a mask," said the Deputy Mayor, who is familiarly called Bung Edi.
He added, in addition to wearing masks, the public is also urged to be more active in washing their hands. Because washing hands is also very useful to avoid the Covid-19 outbreak.
Bung Edi also invited the public to consume nutritious food, sleep regularly, and do... social distancing and physical distancing as recommended by the government.
In addition to providing direction, on this occasion Bung Edi distributed basic food assistance with AMPI Malang City. This activity is expected to further increase togetherness of all components of society in Malang City.
Because by being able to share with each other, being able to help each other will be a strong capital to be able to face various problems, challenges and obstacles. From this togetherness it is hoped that it can be a pleasure in the middle of a very noble month, namely the month of Ramadan. cah
