Ministry of Social Affairs Cash Social Assistance Distributed Again

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Cash Social Assistance (BST) from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) for the Klojen District area, especially the Sukoharjo Village area, was implemented at the Malang Main Post Office, Saturday (9/5/2020).

This social assistance was welcomed with joy by the recipients of the assistance, because many residents were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. As expressed by one of the residents of Sukoharjo Village, Susiati, she said that the corona virus pandemic in Malang City had greatly affected her income.

On normal days, from selling fried food, she said she could earn Rp100.000, but now, she said, it is very difficult to earn Rp25.000. "Thank God, today we received assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs. This is very important for us," said Susi, Saturday (9/5/2020).

So far, Susi said she started selling various fried foods in the morning until midday. However, now entering the month of Ramadan like this, she started selling in the afternoon starting at 14.00 WIB. "Different from normal days, during the Corona pandemic like now, just someone buying is already very grateful," said Susi.

Susi hopes that the Covid-190 pandemic will soon pass, so that she can sell in normal conditions again. "It is very difficult when there is an outbreak like now. But everything must still be grateful, because being given the blessing of health is already an extraordinary gift," said Susi.

Meanwhile, Secretary of Sukoharjo Village, Dani Maroe Beni, revealed that there are currently 645 Sukoharjo residents who received BST at the Malang Main Post Office.

To facilitate the distribution and administrative check of BST collection, it is divided into two places, namely at the Food Court of the Malang Main Post Office and the Pension Room/ASABRI of the Malang Main Post Office. (cah/yon)
