Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07/MENKES/305/2020 Concerning the Determination of Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the Areas of Malang City, Malang Regency, and Batu City, East Java Province in the Context of Accelerating Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) officially in effect, the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa held a coordination meeting.
This coordination meeting was held at the Malang Bakorwil Office, Wednesday evening (13/05/2020) which was attended by three Regional Heads of Malang Raya, Pangdam V/Brawijaya, East Java Regional Police Chief, Pangdiv II Kostrad, and other related officials.
From this coordination meeting, it was decided that the trial or socialization of PSBB in Malang Raya will be carried out on Thursday (14/5/2020) to Saturday (16/5/2020). During this period, socialization related to the implementation of PSBB and various appeals to residents will be maximized. Meanwhile, the implementation of PSBB will be carried out starting from Sunday until the next 14 days and residents who violate the rules will be prosecuted and given sanctions.
East Java Governor, Khofifah Indar Parawansa said that Malang Raya has met the requirements for implementing PSBB. Various preparations and concrete steps must be carried out immediately by the three regional heads in Malang Raya, such as mayoral regulations, regent regulations, strong villages and other related elements.
"The commitment of all elements of society must have one vision in efforts to prevent and prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak, so that the implementation of the PSBB is effective. In addition, what is also a concern during the PSBB is the readiness of the laboratory PCR test, hospitals for curative treatment, rapid testing and tracing "patient," explained the woman in the hijab.
Governor Khofifah added that the PSBB is the last option from various ways to suppress the spread of Covid-19, so all parties are urged to work together well.
"Another anticipation during PSBB is the arrival of residents from outside the area or the homecoming flow before the holidays. Tightening will be carried out at every entry and exit of Malang Raya and for residents who are indicated to be exposed to Covid-19 will be evacuated to the hospital and/or will be quarantined in a place determined according to the rules in PSBB," he explained.
