Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The enthusiasm of various elements of society to take part in handling the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Malang City is increasingly extraordinary. Including when Berkat Malang Gema Kasih (BMGK) Malang City distributed organic vegetable seed packages to congregations affected by Covid-19 in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Friday (15/5/2020). Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko on this occasion symbolically handed over the aid packages.

The Head of BMGK Malang City, Pastor Israel Yacob, said that the distribution of vegetable seeds and seedlings was a form of BMGK's concern to help others. With the assistance in the form of seeds and fertilizers, it is hoped that it can help residents affected by Covid-19 to earn income. "Not only providing seeds, we will also provide assistance to the community so that the seeds planted can grow well," explained Yacob, Friday (15/5).
Not only that, so that the recipients of the assistance are not confused about selling the seeds they planted, BMGK is also ready to buy all the vegetable production that has been successfully harvested. In this way, it is hoped that the recipients of the assistance can really get maximum benefits. "We provide seeds for residents affected by Covid-19, both those who are still unemployed or who have become unemployed due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic," he added.
Through the distribution of this aid, it is hoped that affected residents can be helped, can be more empowered and have hope to be able to earn income, so that residents receiving aid can benefit from the aid packages that are handed over. (cah/yon)
