Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – For the umpteenth time, in the midst of a period of transition New Normal or the new normal, the Malang City Covid-19 Task Force (Satgas) held a joint operation (opsgab) targeting a number of business premises such as cafes and places that are used as gathering places.

This time, Saturday night (06/06/2020) the joint operation officers targeted a cafe on Jl Bondowoso, Malang City. The Covid-19 Task Force together with the Malang City Forkopimda in this joint operation also carried out rapid testing or rapid tests for cafe visitors, employees and parking attendants.
When officers arrived, the cafe visitors, who were mostly young people, looked panicked and tried to leave the location. However, officers did not want to be caught off guard and acted firmly by chasing away all visitors and closing the cafe fence. The cafe manager received a stern warning because his operating hours exceeded the 20.30 WIB limit and caused a crowd.
Of the 116 people who underwent rapid testing, 12 of them were detected reactive. From these results, the 12 people had previously been tested twice and the results were still reactive so they had to undergo independent quarantine for the next 14 days at their respective homes. While waiting for the swab test process, they will be intensively initiated by the Covid-19 Task Force and other related institutions.
Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko revealed that of the 12 people, some of them do not live in Malang City, so the Covid-19 Task Force and Forkopimda will coordinate with officers in their respective areas.
After the rapid test, the cafe area was sprayed with disinfectant to anticipate various things. "For the next 14 days, this cafe will be closed and when it will open later, it must report to the Malang City Covid-19 Task Force, so that various preparations will be made such as supervision and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for employees," added the Deputy Mayor of Malang who is familiarly called Bung Edi.
During the transition period New Normal The second stage from 7 June to 14 June, he explained, was the regulation of business premises that operate at night and rapid testing will continue to be intensified. "Although the PSBB has ended and we are now entering a new normal era, the public should continue to follow the health protocol rules so that the outbreak does not become more massive," concluded Bung Edi.
