Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Chairman of the Malang City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) together with the Mayor of Malang and the Deputy Mayor of Malang inaugurated three public spaces in the Malang City DPRD Building, Monday (8/6/2020). The three public service spaces are the guest waiting room, the journalist's work room, and the hall open to the public.

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji chatted with the Chairman of the Malang City DPRD while reviewing one of the rooms

Chairman of the Malang City DPRD I Made Riandiana said that the presence of three new public spaces in the Malang City DPRD Building is expected to accommodate the interests of the community, help lighten the workload of journalists and can make the community get better service when they are in the council building.

"With more adequate facilities, plus wi-fi and AC facilities, it is hoped that it can make the work of fellow journalists easier. But it must be remembered to participate in maintaining and caring for it," Made said, Monday (8/6).

Not only the press room, the council building is also equipped with an open space that can be used by the general public to hold various activities. But of course everything must be done alternately because the capacity is also not too much. "The open space that we made into a hall used to be a fish pond. Currently it is maximized to become a public space," explained Made.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, welcomed the addition of public space in the Malang City DPRD Building. According to him, the existing public space is representative enough to help journalists work and is also comfortable as a waiting room for guests.

"We really appreciate the steps taken by the Malang City DPRD in improving the facilities in the council building. Hopefully in the future it will be able to bring more benefits," said Sutiaji. (cah/yon)
