Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Saber Pungli Team continues to monitor the distribution of the second phase of Cash Social Assistance (BST) from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs which is given to residents affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, such as MSME actors, pedicab drivers, and other informal workers. As photographed on Wednesday (10/06/2020), the Malang City Saber Pungli Team conducted monitoring at the Kasin and Oro-oro Dowo Village Offices, Klojen District, Malang City.

One of the members of the Saber Pungli Team, Siti Mahmudah, said that there were 297 residents of Kasin Village today who received assistance and of that number, all have received it. However, one person died on Tuesday night (09/06/2020), but BST can still be distributed to the designated heirs and registered in the family card.
Meanwhile, in the Oro-oro Dowo Sub-district, the woman in the hijab said that 326 residents were entitled to receive assistance. Of that number, there were four identical data and were immediately confirmed and clarified to the Malang City Social Service. "There are 13 people who have died and have not appointed heirs, so the distribution of this cash social assistance cannot be handed over and one person is a retired civil servant," she added.
Mahmudah added that there were eight residents of Oro-oro Dowo Village who could not attend and could later collect BST at the Malang Main Post Office. Monitoring like this, he said, is always carried out so that if there are things like the above, they can be immediately known and reported to the mayor and the Ministry of Social Affairs.
In addition to ensuring that the distribution of cash social assistance runs smoothly, Mahmudah emphasized that her party is also supervising the implementation of health protocols for residents and officers. "So far, everything has been carried out well, such as checking body temperature, washing hands, using hand sanitizers, using masks and maintaining a safe distance between residents. Thus, events like this do not trigger the transmission of the Covid-19 virus," she explained.
