Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Reinforcement monitoring tracing and tracking in the Arjuno Health Center working area was held in the hall of the Kidul Dalem Village Office, Klojen District, Malang City, Monday (29/06/2020). This activity was carried out to suppress and break the chain of transmission Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19).
On this occasion, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, was present and gave directions. Among them was reminding the importance of discipline in implementing the Covid-19 safe health protocol in order to immediately break the chain of Covid-19 transmission.
Sutiaji said that currently his party is continuing to carry out treatment so that there is no increase in positive Covid-19 patients, considering that currently hospitals in Malang City are already experiencing overload.
"We continue to handle it so that Malang City can return to the green zone. Therefore, we really need the support of all elements," said the badminton enthusiast.
The role of the community, said Sutiaji, is very much needed, especially the role in supervision. For that, hard work is needed, collective awareness to work together to remind families and neighbors to be disciplined in obeying health protocols. "The use of masks, maintaining distance, washing hands as often as possible must become a culture," he said.
To improve the discipline of citizens in implementing health protocols, it can be done by giving sanctions, especially social sanctions. These social sanctions can be in various forms, such as cleaning the environment, cleaning settlements or in other forms. (cah/yon)
