Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Friday (10/7/2020) yesterday was the first day of the implementation of Local-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBL) in the Mergosono Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City. The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, on this occasion directly reviewed the location to ensure that the PSBL was running well.

"I came to ensure that PSBL runs well, especially in check point, body temperature checks and how to monitor people entering and leaving this area," he said.
He also gave appreciation and support to the residents of Mergosono for their awareness in carrying out lockdown local without any coercion. "We must appreciate this. This is a form of public awareness to suppress the spread of Covid-19 in the Mergosono area," added Sutiaji.
For the next 14 days, Sutiaji said that this area will be monitored, both its activities and people coming in and out. Thus, it is hoped that the chain of transmission of the corona virus in the Mergosono area will be broken.
"One thing that I noted during this visit was the lack of supporting staff in check point so that when the body temperature check can run faster and there is no buildup. Then there is also no transit place for residents with high body temperatures and there are no medical personnel from the Arjowinangun Health Center," he said.
The Mayor of Malang also said that his party had ordered the Kedungkandang Sub-district Head to immediately complete the deficiencies. During this visit, the Mayor of Malang found several residents who were caught with temperatures of more than 37,3 degrees during the initial examination. The residents were then asked to transit first to have their temperatures checked again. (Ts/yon)
