Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The city of Malang which is kept safe and conducive has received the attention of the Indonesian Army Territorial Center (Pusterad) team who specifically came to Malang City, Wednesday (29/7/2020). The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, directly received this visit at the Malang Mayor's Office, Malang City Hall.
Malang Mayor, Drs. H. Sutiaji revealed that the arrival of the PUSTERAD team was to dig up direct data, including regarding security in Malang City which remains conducive despite the many demonstrations and unrest.
"The solidarity of the Forkopimda (Regional Leadership Coordination Forum) of Malang City with the community is the key to Malang City remaining conducive to this day," explained Sutiaji.
Sutiaji added that even though it is a small city, Malang City is a miniature of Indonesia. Where all ethnic groups from Sabang to Merauke are in Malang City. "The various ethnic groups and religions in this city do not cause division. But rather strengthen togetherness," said Sutiaji.
By looking at and digging up data in Malang City, said Sutiaji, it is very appropriate for Pusterad to do so. This will be a direct observation practice to see the situation of a city with such a diverse society. However, unity and togetherness are so strongly maintained.
Likewise, education in Malang City has instilled a strong character towards the love of the nation and state since early childhood. One of them is for elementary school students in grades 1 and 2 are not taught to read and write first. But instead educated to become a generation with character.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Sangkawan from the PUSTERAD team revealed that he deliberately came to Malang City to see firsthand the dynamics of this city, including the role of the government through Bakesbangpol, Satpol PP, and also regional apparatus. (cah/ram/yon)
