Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The presence of a resilient village in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic like today is very much needed. In it, there must be resilience of human resources (HR) and creativity. From here, the existence of MSME actors must continue to be strengthened and should be synergized with related agencies, in this case the Malang City Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) so that it will also strengthen the community's economy in the midst of the pandemic.

Several things were conveyed by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji when reviewing the UMKM product exhibition and inaugurating Griya Bareng Tenes (Barnes) in RW 2, Bareng Village, Klojen District, Malang City, Sunday (06/09/2020). The bespectacled man said that all the creative economy products exhibited this time were quite good and had high selling value.
Like various foods and drinks that utilize herbal plants in the village environment. "This can be an example for other RW. Therefore, various reinforcements are needed, involving universities so that later it can be low cost tapi high quality," he added.
He further said, it is not impossible and even from this UMKM product can penetrate the export market. This pandemic period makes us have to think hard and creatively. "Let's gather all the small strengths, and don't be fixated on business capital to other supporting facilities," he invited.
"Now is the digital era, and make the most of this opportunity by utilizing the online market. There are many examples of people who have changed course to become MSME actors and succeeded. The most important and key is, are we willing to try and rise," said Sutiaji.
The inauguration of Griya Barnes was enthusiastically welcomed by residents, especially members of Dasa Wisma RW 2, Bareng Village. The reason is, they will be well accommodated, namely UMKM products and local residents' creative economy products. Residents can produce, promote and sell products together and well organized.
As conveyed by one of the members of Dasa Wisma Mawar 3, Ninis Okta Rumiawati. According to this woman in hijab, she and other members have been waiting for a special container to accommodate the results of the residents' creativity.
