In this museum there are many collections and historical evidence that can be used as learning materials and increase knowledge.
Various events have been held, such as drawing competitions, quizzes, and cultural arts performances. No less interesting, the Malang City Education and Culture Office also held a vlog competition with the theme 'Museum in My Heart'. This vlog competition was held from September 8-14, 2020 and the judging was carried out on September 17, 2020. The jury consisted of cultural figures, academics and journalists.
In the future, he explained, various events will continue to be held so that the existence of the Mpu Purwa Museum is better known by the public and many are interested in coming and learning. Thus, it is hoped that it will also attract many tourists, especially foreign tourists. "As one of the historical or educational tourism destinations, there is a lot that can be explored at the Mpu Purwa Museum, especially for students and college students," Andayun added.
"We do not charge a fee to come to the museum, but health protocols are strictly implemented because we are still in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. We will also continue to do promotions and publications to introduce the existence of this museum. Likewise with this vlog competition, which is a very effective event, because one of the requirements for each participant is to upload their work to social media," explained the friendly woman.
