Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – As an alumni, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, attended the 59th Anniversary of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim (UIN Maliki) Malang, Tuesday (29/09/2020). The event began with joint exercise on the UIN Maliki campus field with the Chancellor of UIN Maliki Abdul Haris and the academic community.
Not only pride in the achievements and what the campus has achieved so far, the bespectacled man also said that UIN Maliki Malang is one of the best campuses that has produced many quality human resources. "From this campus many national leaders were born, so I, as one of the alumni, also feel very proud," he added.
Malang Mayor Sutiaji advised UIN Maliki Malang to continue to innovate, contribute and produce future generations that meet the nation's expectations. "From this institution, we believe that not only will strong human resources be born in social sciences but also in religion," he said.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of UIN Maliki Malang Abdul Haris said that his party has and will continue to make various efforts so that what the Mayor of Malang conveyed can be realized properly.
"In accordance with the theme that we carry in the dies maulidiyah event this time, we aspire to make this educational institution the best institution on an international scale. Collaboration with various parties at various levels has also been carried out, so that what we want is not just a dream later," he explained. (say/yon)
