Deputy Chairperson of the Malang City DPRD Budget Committee, Rimzah, revealed that there were several notes and suggestions given by the Budget Committee (Banggar) regarding the 2020 KUA-PPAS APBD. The first was related to maximizing the 2021 regional original income (PAD) which the council felt was very... urgent.

Second, the council requested that all PAD potential be presented in the draft regional regulation on the 2021 fiscal year APBD. Namely by validating the data so that the discussion of the draft regional regulation on the 2021 APBD can be validated.

Third, regional spending budgeting for the 2021 fiscal year should be implemented based on a priority scale by taking into account health management programs, economic recovery and social safety nets for the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Fourth, the submission of the budget by regional apparatuses must consider the rationalization between potential regional revenue and regional spending. While the fifth, the budgeting of multi-year activities is balanced with efforts to increase regional original income as optimally as possible. "The suggestion is a unity of the opinion that I have conveyed regarding the ratification of the KUA-PPAS APBD for the 2021 fiscal year," said Rimzah.

Meanwhile, Malang Mayor Sutiaji said that his party will maximize PAD in 2021 by carrying out various innovations by strengthening the tax sector, where from the KPK Korsupgah notes, the increase in PAD is noted. (cah/yon)
