KPK Monitoring and Evaluation of PSU Handover

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Of the 356 housing developments in Malang City, since 1991 to 2020, 75 developers have submitted infrastructure, facilities and utilities (PSU) to the Malang City Government. The remaining 281 developers within a maximum period of two years must submit so that it can facilitate the Malang City Government in inventorying the number of regional assets.

Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji together with related parties accompanied the Head of the KPK Korsupgah Task Force Region VI, Edi Suryanto during the signing and handover of the developer's PSU to the Malang City Government in the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Wednesday (18/11/2020)

Related to this, through the KPK Region VI Coordination and Supervision of Prevention (Korsupgah) task force, monitoring and evaluation will be carried out and will also facilitate the process. This program will not only ease the burden on local governments but also developers, because in addition to simplifying the process, the cost of processing documents and/or administration will be borne by the Malang City Government.

Head of the KPK Korsupgah Task Force Region VI, Edi Suryanto after witnessing and ensuring the handover of a number of housing PSUs in the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Wednesday (18/11/2020) gave his appreciation to developers in Malang City. The reason is that out of 38 regencies/cities in East Java, only 15 regencies/cities have handed over PSUs to the local government.

According to Edi, Malang City is considered good because many have submitted and there is good cooperation between developers and local governments. "For those who have not submitted, even though the documents are not complete, they should be submitted immediately. If this is done, at least there is good faith from the developers and the KPK will provide assistance and direction," he added.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, admitted that he would commit to encouraging and assisting developers in completing the documents. "So that from 281 developers, it is targeted that in less than two years they will have submitted the PSU to the Malang City Government. Thus, this effort will not trigger any findings for the KPK," he continued.

So if the KPK gives two years, the bespectacled man said, then our target is not two years and I will advance it so that we have that spirit and spirit. The Mayor of Malang admitted that he would try his best to realize it in less than two years. He also apologized when there were developers who did not have good intentions, then the community would hand it over.

"When later they still don't want to, it means that their intentions are not good and can be categorized as embezzlement and of course there are consequences. That includes embezzlement of state assets that should be handed over to the Malang City Government. Therefore, with the facilitation and assistance from the KPK, developers who have not handed over the PSU, please hand it over as soon as possible," said Sutiaji. (say/yon)
