Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the East Java Culture and Tourism Office and the Malang City Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) again held the 2020 Panji Nusantara Festival at the East Java Cultural Park (TKBJ) Jl. Soekarno Hatta No. 7 Malang City, Saturday (28/11/2020).

Various interesting attractions from various regions in East Java are displayed at TKBJ by implementing strict health protocols. The event was held for two days starting Friday (27/11/2020) – Saturday (28/11/2020).
Head of the Indonesian Working Group of the Directorate General of Culture, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Eggy Yunaedi, greatly appreciated the holding of the Panji Nusantara Festival.
He said that of the 23 regions assisted by the Indonesian Working Group, only five regions were finally able to hold the 2020 Panji Nusantara Festival. "Malang City is extraordinary, so that amidst the current limitations, it can hold the Panji Nusantara Festival," said Eggy, Saturday (28/11/2020).
Eggy said that the Panji Nusantara Festival was very special because this activity not only raised the existence of local arts and culture. More than that, the Panji Nusantara Festival is a treasure trove of cultural wealth that not only belongs to East Java, but has become a cultural wealth of Indonesia and even the world.
Through this Panji Nusantara Festival, in addition to continuing to grow and hone the creativity of artists and cultural actors, it is also hoped that it can be an inspiration to revive the extraordinary Panji stories to be able to build the nation's culture. (cah/yon)
