Sofyan Edi Jarwoko appreciated the creative products produced by SMK Nasional Malang City in the form of electric bike (e-bike) or electric powered bicycles. A number of bicycles that he launching on Saturday (12/12/2020) at the school on Jalan Raya Langsep 43, Malang City.

According to him, e-Bike This is a creative product that is worth developing to meet the needs of the community, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic like today. "In the last few months, most of the community has adopted a healthy lifestyle by enjoying cycling. This is where there is a big opportunity," added Bung Edi, Sofyan Edi Jarwoko's nickname.
The bespectacled man added, as a city that is also labeled a creative city, so far many creativity has emerged. Especially from the youth, such as the work of the National Vocational School students which is very proud of various parties. "We will certainly provide full support so that this creativity continues to grow," he explained.
He further said that this product must be developed more widely so that it also opens up business opportunities for the community. "So that in the midst of this pandemic, the community's economy automatically continues to grow. The point is, with creativity and/or innovation, this is the answer to various problems during the pandemic, especially the economic sector," said Bung Edi.
Meanwhile, the Head of Malang City National Vocational School, Drs. Muhammad Taufik said e-bike This is one proof that his party remains productive even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. "We must not sit idly by even in difficult conditions because there is a lot we can do for this nation," he said.
To make one unit of this electric bicycle, Taufiq explained, it takes 4-5 days. The price of the bicycle is set at Rp4 million to Rp12 million, depending on the type and level of difficulty of making it.
