Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government participated in the 2020 World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia) commemoration event which was held online from the Ngalam Command Center Room, Malang City Hall, Wednesday (16/12/2020).
The 2020 Hakordia commemoration, which was attended virtually by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, was also accompanied by a number of state officials, including Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD and Indonesian State Secretary Pratikno.
President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo on this occasion said that although during this activity the electricity went out, the eradication of corruption did not go out. With this Hakordia commemoration, Indonesia continues to build awareness of all elements of the nation in an anti-corruption culture.
Other officials who were present in person at the KPK Building included MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Development Planning/Head of Bapennas Suharso Monoarfa and Chairman of the KPK RI Firli Bahuri.
On this occasion, KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri conveyed the theme of the 2020 Hakordia commemoration, which is to build awareness of all elements of the nation in an anti-corruption culture. The Hakordia commemoration is the peak of the commemoration of World Anti-Corruption Day which falls on December 16. "Every year, the KPK together with the community uses various methods and means to commemorate World Anti-Corruption Day," said Firli, Wednesday (16/12/2020).
He said that various ways and means can be done through education, campaigns and socialization about the procedures for reporting corruption cases. The KPK also invited the entire community to campaign for anti-corruption values to enter the academic world. The KPK also invited all stakeholders to voice the anti-corruption declaration.
