Sutiaji, inaugurated three major projects that the community had been waiting for, namely the Kedungkandang Bridge, the Malang City Hall Building, and the Islamic Center and Mini Block Office (Malang City Hall Joint Building), Wednesday (30/12/2020). Of the three projects worth a total of around Rp150 billion, it is targeted and expected that they will help improve the community's economy.

Kedungkandang Bridge is connected to the toll road access in Lesanpuro which is about five kilometers to the north. From here the community's economy will continue to grow by opening various businesses such as culinary and souvenirs typical of Malang. Currently, there are even investors who want to invest by establishing a business because access to the movement of goods and people is getting better.
Several things were conveyed by the Mayor of Malang after inaugurating the three infrastructure facilities to the media crew. Islamic Center It will also serve the needs of the community because in this place there will also be the Ministry of Religion Office, Immigration and Kedungkandang Police. "And of course it will also grow investment and boost the economy of local residents," he added.
Right now, the bespectacled man said it was already visible and many people had come to the Lurah and Camat who wanted to invest in Kedungkandang. "When access has been built, then we build everything and the orientation is to increase income per capita of society. The goal is also to increase the Community Development Index," Sutiaji continued.
Meanwhile, the presence of mini block office which is in the Malang City Hall complex will increasingly provide better services to the community. The number one person in the Malang City Government said that several regional apparatuses will occupy this building such as the Regional Finance and Asset Agency (BKAD), the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) and Satpol PP.
"In addition, several meeting rooms have also been prepared so that it will save on routine government spending and expenses and make it easier for residents to meet their various needs," explained Sutiaji.
