Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji inaugurated 35 Functional Teacher Officials who were assigned as Elementary School (SD) and Junior High School (SMP) Principals at the Malang City Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud), Tuesday (29/12/2020).
The Mayor of Malang said that the change is a natural thing and cannot be separated from the dynamics of education. This change is expected to provide a new atmosphere as a form of evaluation and replacement of retired personnel who must immediately be replaced.
"We hope that you understand that the position you hold as principal will be held accountable in the future," said Sutiaji, Tuesday (29/12/2020).
From that fact, he conveyed that the position must be interpreted in addition to receiving supervision from related parties also receiving direct supervision from God Almighty. Therefore, Sutiaji did not forget to advise that the newly inaugurated principal must be increasingly motivated to progress.
In addition, it also develops competencies in the current digital era, including facing learning situations in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Where in this digital era requires speed, accuracy in delivering information that must be accounted for. "Integrity, transparency and data accuracy all require adaptations," said Sutiaji.
