Jakarta (malangkota.go.id) – A total of 1,8 million Covid-19 vaccines from the Sinovac company arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten Province, Thursday (31/12/2020). This is the second arrival of the vaccine after 1,2 million Sinovac vaccines arrived on December 6, 2020.

Previously, a Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft from Garuda Indonesia airline with flight number GA-890D took off from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, yesterday, Wednesday (30/12/2020) at around 19.55 WIB and landed at Beijing Capital International Airport, Thursday (31/12/2020), at around 04.00 local time.
The vaccines loaded in 10 Envirotainers were then immediately flown to Jakarta on the same plane and landed at around 11.55 WIB.
Upon arrival at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, the vaccine is then taken to warehouse Garuda Indonesia first to recharge the Envirotainer. The plan is, the vaccine will be taken directly to be stored at the Bio Farma Head Office in Bandung.
Those present at the vaccine pickup at Soekarno-Hatta Airport included Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin and Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi.
